CAMERA PHONES

Today we are learning about how to find a camera phone that has a good quality for the price we are paying it. when deciding upon a phone the following features are essential:
  • Autofocus- Assists you to focus on a subject accurately. We should not just assume that it is there, we have to confirm it. the megapixels of a camera does not determine that autofocus is present.
  • High quality flash- there are three different types of flashes: Xenon, Dual LED and Single LED. Xenon is expensive , is heavy on the battery, is not good for a vedio but it gives a high quality for low light images which means photos are less blurred and are bright.  Dual LED is great for video, is twice as bright as standard LED flash, cheaper than Xenon and acceptable low light pics.  Single LED actually have a lower lighting than the camera screen but its cheap.
  • Presets- a good camera phone should have as many presets as possible to get the best quality picture at any time. some of the presets include: Cloudy, Sunny, Incandescent, Fluorescent, portrait, landscape, sport, beach and snow.
  • Image stabilization- Stabilizes the picture and prevents it from being blurry.
  • Gizmos- this is for the phone. the essentials are fast internet connection, easy-to-use interface and built in support for image sharing.
  • Megapixels- The resolution of the picture dependas on the megapixels of a camera. 5 megapixels is minimum but 8 would be better.
