Colour depth

Colour depth is used to describe how many bits represent a colour in a pixel which might be on a digital picture. The differences in in clour depth are shown below:

THE FIRST IMAGE ONLY HAS 2 BITS(4 COLOURS)

THE SECOND IMAGE HAS 8 BITS(256 COLOURS)
THE THIRD IMAGE HAS 24 BITS (16,777,216 COLOURS)
